With all of the reproduction parts, that are so cheap, is it worth chroming all of my parts. THey are original, which is nice. But I need most of the main parts chromed. They are all pitted.

What do you guys think I should do?

If your bumbers are straight, chrome them. It will cost more than a repo, but you'll be happier in the long run. Pot metal, such as door handles, can fall apart when prepped for refinish, soooooo....perhaps go with the higher quality US made stuff. I have some repo 70 tailight housings which are absolutly flawless and they have held up well over the last two years.

It will cost more to re-chrome your existing parts. You have to decide if you want orginallity. The aftermarket stuff is not too bad for price and quality.

Some chroming places are set up to do those things like outside door handles, tail light bezzels and such...
