This is a photo of a project Mustang at last years Knott's show. These guys were talking about making a kit to convert 5.0 Mustangs to this. Will they be at this years show? Is their project still alive? It sort of looked like a fun project and may be a fun go out and kick butt kind of cruiser.

I have seen adds in tha back of Mustang magazines for a body kit for newer Mustangs that looks a lot like the car pictured, I also remember reading an article about the kit. The design has changed a little bit from the car pictured.

I don't have any answers, but if you go to www.showmemustang.com, and go to the 'spotlight car' on the left side of the page, and then go to the titles that say red modified and silver modified, they are pics of very similar cars. The site is for a Mustang club in St. Louis.

Check out gbmustang.com. I think your questions will be answered.
I remember reading an article somewhere about these things, they are built on a 86-93 frame donor car with
5.0 engines, etc.

Ive been visiting this forum for several months but this is my first post

Thanks, and yes, I agree. The picture with the Silver car was taken at Knott's. I can tell from the background. The Red car appears modified from the car shown at Knott's last year.

I have a little better handle on it than before. The cars are sold only as a completed unit, not a kit. Cost starts at about $40,000. I thought they might be doing a Factory Five thing.

Thanks again,

Russ
