Hi Folks,

For those of you that have upgraded to larger disc brakes with 12 or 13 inch rotors and multi piston calipers, you've likely upgraded your rolling stock to 16 or 17 inch wheels. I'm upgrading to 17 inch wheels and Baer brakes with 12+ inch rotors. What does everyone recommend for a spare tire/wheel combo to fit the large rotors/calipers? Will the spare tire/wheel combo from a new mustang (2003) which would be easily obtainable from a Ford dealer fit?

Also, anybody have recommendations for a 295 40 17 size tire for the rear?

Thanks,
Paul

I ended up using a 16-inch mini spare from a late model Lincoln. Clears my Wilwood 12" fronts, and Versailles rear discs. Late-model Mustang should work also.
