I believe there is a clearance issue, Dan. Requires a special spacer that Chris Huff (of Coast High Performance) "may" sell. You might want to check with him.

Will a 2001 mustang rim 17X8 fit on a '66/'67 5 lug?

Do a quick search and you'll find what I've posted not all that long ago... I'd write it all out again, but I have to leave (work) in two minutes.. search for wheel spacer
