That^On the race cars we put foil tape over the stick on weights.
Edit: and prep the surface first with 90% alcohol. Gotta be super clean.

I had to look that up; interesting. My daily driver (4x4) will need tires relatively soon, I might give that^ a shotSkip the weights and run dyna beads. No more weights to lose.
That^ is the right way to go about it. I used to have a local kid who would do that for me (I’d toss him a few bucks).When I was balancing my own tires/wheels, I was a bit "anal" (right?) about it and would mount the tire then put it on the balancer. If it was off by more than an ounce, I'd mark the "light" spot on the tire, break the beads and rotate the tire 180* on the rim and balance again, repeating until I found the "lightest" weights.
