I've heard different things about heat damaging MSD boxes. I was wondering where most of you put yours?

i got mine mounted on the firewall with rubber bushings...
it is out of the way and looks neat

Take a look the pic here to see where I always put mine....note how it's mounted level and with isolation dampers....this also makes it easier for me to change the rev-limiter chips while in the car....

Also, note the shift light (on the right) and the low oil pressure light and voltmeter (on the left) near the main switch panel on the roll cage....that's for my idiot driver....hehehe

I have had mine on my driver's side inner fender for almost 2 years...I drove the car daily for 1 year with no problems

On the drivers side inner fender above and back a bit from the washer bottle. Mine's a Crane Hi-6, similar dimensions, no problems.

69 Sportsroof, 351C, 4spd toploader, Restomod BOSS 429 clone - the one and only (?) 1969 BOSS 351
