I want to repaint the letters on my 69 Florida license plate (because they are dark). Does anyone know where I can buy white reflective paint (the type that is used on a license plate)?

I also noticed the letters on my plate feel rough like sand is sprinkled on them. Does anyone know how I should go about painting my letters? The rest of the plate is in great condition. Thanks.

I don't know where you get the paint but there is a guy that restores plates, I think he's in PA. I don't know his name or number off hand but i have heard He does a great job and the plate will look brand new. I think it was about 40 bucks per plate. Somebody on the VMF will have this guys info if your interested.

Which 69 plate do you have, The red 68/69 or green 69/70, Maybe i have that backwards.

I have the red 68/69 plates. The plate looks brand new except the white lettering is a grey color instead of white. All I need to do is touch up the white.

One site that I found was:

http://www.mojoartworks.com/

They restore license plates. Check it out.

I plan on using him once I get the DMV to read their rules and get the black/gold plates back on my ride.
