Plumbit forgot to mention that Clare also has the largest rest stop in Michigan.....

Farwell is a pretty cool place. A couple of really fun bars! I used to go there all of the time when I had my place in Harrison!

Gary, you used to live in Harrison?
Well I'll be dogged !
Yea there used to be 3 bars here and the one that is no longer here was once owned by my folks yrs ago.
I even tended bar there every so often when i would come here for vacation from Colo.
The bar was called the Parkview, there where some wild times there.
I married the daughter of the owner of D.J's when they owned it way back in the 80's. The girl I married was a non drinker but loved to dance and that was the place to do it. here mom did the blind date thing and everything else went on from there.
It's funny my folks owned a bar and they would say to me never marry any woman you meet in a bar !
Goes to show how much attention I pd to them.

The other Gary from Farwell !

I spent last weekend camping on Dodge Lake (Dodge City), not too far from you. We are planning a trip to Wilson State park soon.

Hello. I just found this forum and am glad to become a member. From what I have seen Wisconsin isn't represented very well but that's where we call home. And no I don't wear one of those wedges! A little rural community northwest of Milwaukee called Neosho.
