Hello,

I am going to put an electric cooling fan in my '66. It has a 289. Which electric fan is my best bet if I want to remove the original fan that attaches to the water pump. I prefer something that will bolt on with little or no fabrication of mounting hardware. Has anyone had any good or bad luck with a particular fan? Can someone give me a recommendation and where to purchase it?

Thanks a lot,
John Thomas

I bought a Hot Rod Air fan. It's custom made for the Mustang and fits right over the radiator. I haven't installed it yet but it'll go in along with the new motor in a few weeks. I'll let everyone know how it works.

I got it through a group purchase Dickson put together last Fall. We went through the mustangman, www.mustangman.com HR air was backordered so it took about 6 weeks to get it.
