which is better for my 68? 351w or 351c.this post relates to the one i just posted.i donot have my paws on it yet.i can not tell if it is a c or w.which engine is most sout after for performance and parts.will it take the 302 engine mounts or will they need to be changed.i will not see the engine or get in touch with the owner until next week.PLEASE
HELP ME AGAIN...

From what I understang the 351C is a more powerful engine, but the 351W has more parts to choose from, and is cheaper to build.

If you are going to run stock motor - the 351c is the better choice.

If you are going to go upgrade perforamce, the 351w is the better choice.

Of course I am stroking my 351c to a 408.....so you can pretty much do anything with either.

I prefer the cleveland they rock. Plus it's a little different. The windsor isn't a bad engine and with aftermarket heads move good. You can't go wrong either way.
