Does the actual motor mount "bracket" (not the insulator) go in front of or behind the shock tower? (if you look at the engine compartment from the front). I had them powder coated and I want to make sure I put them on right. Thanks!
If you have mounts that have one hole per side, they are so that the flat part is open rearwards. Can't remember which way they went to shock tower, but I would bet on the front of shock towers.
I just installed the motor in my 66 this weekend. It did not matter which side they on. Early 65 used a different mount that was specific. Not sure which one you have.
