Hang on, that didn't sound right!

Just to say thanks to you guys. I was so confident you were right and I was just me that I picked up a 15/16" th socket on the way home last night. It fit perfect!

hey shaun...did you figure out why the one you had didn't fit??

Was there a difference in wall thickness of the socket or number of points??

Nothing wrong with my tools, just the idiot on the other end of the wrench! I thought I had the size Whisperer suggested but I didn't, that's just me I'm afraid!

Luckily I know how I am and I know how knowledgable you guys are. I didn't hesitate at stopping to Ace on the way home and buying what Whisperer suggested!
