I'm about to drill my holes for the fill and PCV. Following the instructions I bought a 1" hole saw.

Lucky I measured the gromets! The opening on the oil fill side of the gromet is 1"! I'm using the specified Ford Racing fill cap and it measures 1" too.

How can you drill a 1" hole, insert the gromet and push in something with a 1" diameter???

I measured the gromet and it looks like you need at least a 1&1/8th to 1&1/4 hole...

What size hole did you drill?

I did those & a set of custom billets for my race car. Drilled a 3/4 & used a die grinder to open it up a little.

Thanks for the tip. I just used the 1" hole saw and ground it out until the breather fit nice and snug...

The Ford instructions were way wrong!!
