Hi,
My wheels are 15x7 with a 3.750 backspace. Will 245/60r15 tires fit the rear of my 67 with these wheels? Im really concerned about the backspace. I dont want them to rub!
The wheels I have are American Racing Torque Thrust "D"

My eyes are starting to hurt from all the forum posts I've read and would love it someone with more experience could help me out!

Thanks!
Paul

Size should work, but backspace probably needs to be 4.25” minimum. I have this size tire on my 65 with 15x7 4.25” and it is tight with fully rolled fender lips.

I have 235/60-15s on 15x7 w/ 4" backspace and they fit. But they are tight to the fenders so a larger tire with less backspace might not work.
Picture of the rear fenders:

Sorry, no experience with the Cobras but we have CS5s and SRXs on several of our vehicles and have been well pleased.

I have only put a few miles on the Cobras, and can only say that they ride nice and seem to grip ok. I haven't pushed the car since they were installed so I can't comment on performance. Sorry.
