The spindles are the same as used for 71-73 mustang and will fit the 65, you will have to use the later outer tie rod ends, which could be a problem if you have powersteering on your 65.The axle would physically bolt in, but would be too wide for your car by alot.(Sping perches are in same location, it is the distance between the spring perches and backing plate where the tubes will be too wide, you could have it narrowed and axles made to work.
