I may not be of much help but I did have long-tube headers on my 67 with a 351W. I just don't recall the brand. I removed them when I decided to go back to stock exhaust manifolds. My car has power steering as well. But I am guessing that the PO had to lift the engine to get those babies in. I just took a sawz-all and cut the left one out. The right one dropped out without any trouble.
