Ok, I am told I have garand or deluxe 1970 seats in my 1969 Mustang, so I would liek to know if standard 70 seat upholstery will fit the garand seats...

Based on the comfort weave inserts and the panels on the front upper seats, I say you have 1970 deluxe upholstery. Ford used the same seat frames for all 1970 interiors. The differences lay in the seat foam. I believe the Mach One used a different seat foam for the seat back. The standard upholstery set and deluxe set are interchangeable on the seat frames and I also believe on the seat foam. For the latter, I suggest checking NPD or another cataog and see how they list the foam.

I was the one who thought they were grande seats. Didn't the deluxe seat have the woodgrain buttons on them and the grandes did not?? I can't tell if the material is Houndstooth or Comfortweave from the pics. I just remember the square buttons on the deluxe seats.
