I need to put new wiper arms on my 66, and I cant figure out how to get the old arms off. There is a little clip that I think holds the arms on, but I can not get to it without scrathing the paint. Any sugestions?
Thanks.

I used a screwdriver to pry them off, but my car isn't painted yet! I think NPD sells a tool to take them off.

There is a little tab just under the hinge. Once you get it pulled back they just pull off. I usually use a screw driver with a thick towel to pry against. Pull the wiper away from the window, and you can see the little tab.

The NPD part# for the WiperArm Removal Tool is 956-1.
It is a pair of pliers where when handles are compressed, the jaws seperate and lift the arm from the body.
The jaw that makes contact with the body is rubber coated to prevent scratching. If you want to order one the # is 800-874-7595. it's on page 171 of their currennt catalog for $15.50.
