I have a 65 convertible that I restored the dash. The two speed wipers with washer worked fine when I started. I replaced the washer pump which works fine. However, when I reconnected the wiper motor, I have two speeds but the blades do not index to the down or start position when I turn them off. Any help with why and how to fix?

inside motor is a "park" switch which puts blades at correct position when power to wiper switch is turned off. where do your blades stop and do they stop at same position each time? if they stop that switch is opening properly but the drive and linkage is not correctly placed on shaft of wiper motor - did you have it apart because if you did not then it should be ok. PM me with your comments if you want further help. i just completely overhauled mky '68 which is slightly different but not in this area.
