hey guys im new to this so i hope im doing it right
i just changed out a motor in my 73 mustang and was wondering
how many ground wires and were they should go thanks

One from the negative battery post/cable to the fender apron and one from the firewall to the engine minimum. I also run one from the engine to the front subframe.

thanks for the info ya i have a 73 with a 390 and the bottum end was rattling so i pold it out and put a 352 in so i can rebuild the 390

The neg batt post should go directly to engine block. The reason for this is the highest draw on your system is the starter, needing the large size wire. Then engine to firewall and frame. Never can have too many grounds.
