A somewhat hollow victory as my old pile was the only one to complete 4 of the 7 events. I might also run the Indy region next year as they have a competitive CAM-T class. That's a lot of getting up at 3 or 4 in the morning and a lot of commuting. I live in the Central time zone while everything 10 miles East is the Eastern time zone so I loss an hour shortly after leaving home. Glad I bought the trailer it is awesome!

Do you run power steering for autoX? I don't see how i could make the quick turns with manual steering and high caster setting.

I run PS. Some of the more macho members like 2nd 66 and Huskinhano don't.

Congrats!

It's almost impossible to be competitive in CAM T in our local SCCA events. We get people who literally stuff a modern Corvette under the body of a classic car and end up putting down faster times than Porsches. I'm not one only compete to win (I genuinely enjoy autocross), but it's really annoying having these trophy collectors flex their pockets on the regular guys.

From a fellow CAM-T guy...AWESOME! CONGRATS!!!

The folks in class out here run everything from an early blazer on a C5 chassis to LS stuffed early camaros, and big block hog leg chevelles...and of course theres "ole blue". Me, I don't have a snowballs chance but have a great time getting better then the last time.

Going to Grissom AFB this Sunday for the final Indy SCCA fun event, swap and drive! I let a handful of people drive my car. All with much more experience than myself. You have just got to be sure to hand the keys off and not leave them in the car! I need to work on the pedal layout and heights this winter since mine is stupid. I've got some nice rides lined up to drive Sunday! Then 5 months of nothing but winter.:crying:

almost as cool as a leg lamp
:p
No, the leg lamp is number one around these parts! I've given several as gifts over the years. Damned expensive but worth it. I grew up close to the Hohman Indiana, aka Hammond Indiana in the movie. Actually it was announced tonight that this years Indiana Northwest Region SCCA events will be run at Majestic Star Casino, technically in Hammond Indiana with Gary mailing address. Weird stuff that you would post a picture of the leg lamp! Psycho cosmic stuff going on tonight for sure.
