I currently have a 65 coupe with a 289. My uncle has seen a 67 coupe in way better condition than my car for 3000.00. I was wonder what the major changes the 67 has over the 65. I'm lookin to use the 65 for whatever parts i might need for the 67(body, motor, tranny).

Thanks for the help in advance folks!

Almost nothing is interchangable between the two. Motor and tranny, possibly rear end, but nothing else.

I've heard the windshields are the same, but never had two besides each other to compare. I think the disk brakes can be used as well.

Parts that will work: Engine, Trans, gears out of rear end, front or rear windshield, wheels, brake drums or rotors, seats, shocks, gas tank.

Parts that won't work: Rear end assembly, all body parts, wiring, suspension, spindles, title, steering

Yes they made major changes.... and I would not consider it a good donor car especially considering the price

With college(books, fees, and tuition) it is not economically possible for me to own two mustangs. And i only have room for one car in the garage. =(
