Yea Really VMF admins don't mess around.

You check your belts? That is the only screach I know.

Well I can describe it a little more for ya. When I put the new torque converter on, the bolts were just a little to long so I have had to grind them down to clear the starter housing. I believe that they are still hitting the starter housing a bit on start up and while coming down from speed when the torqeing changes. Its sounds the worst when its starting up but quickly goes away. while the engine is at a constant speed there is now screeching at all.
What does a loose bearing cap sound like? what other possibilites are you thinking. I know that its comming from that end of the enigine.
thanks Surveyboy
