Well since this was the only rust through on my 72 coupe (by the rear 1/4 window) I felt it easier to make patch panels than replace the entire floor pan.

It turned out very well and you wouldn't be able to see it at all unless you looked very closely.

nice job. sure beats replacing the whole floor pan. it is prob. a much wiser decision to do this than to replace it all, and definatly much less expensive.

Nice write up, I just book marked it.
I have to do the same thing on my car in two spots.
They're not really big enough to go through the hassle of replacing the whole floorpan so I was just going to patch it also.
