Thanks for the link as I hadn’t seen that close up picture of the Steve McQueen in the car. It shows the side mirror that has yet to be identified and it also confirms the car had an overhead console. If anyone knows what mirror they used please chime in?

This was discussed on the forum section of Welcome to the Home of the "Bullittheads" (which stands for International Mustang Bullitt Owner's Club)....In the 68 Replica section the mirror question came up and after consulting two experts who have vast knowledge of the movie car, here is the results of the thread:Bullitt's round mirror - IMBOC Hope this helps......

if you look closely at the bottom of this pic, you can see the original hole in the door for the remote mirror cable just behind the mirror that they used on it.;)
