I'm rebuilding the fuel pump on the SCJ and I need some help. I can't seem to get the diaphram out of the housing. Is there a trick to this? I've removed the pin, the arm is out but the diaphram still will not come out. Also when I was replacing the 3 rubber seals in the checkvalves I noticed that one of the 3 metal checkvalve bodies has a very small hole in the center of it but the ones in my rebuild kit do not have the hole. Which is correct? And finally when I do get the old diaphram out and the new one in place, where do the tabs or ears on the end of the actuator arm go? Do they go between the thick rubber seal and the flat metal washer on the top or do they go between the thick rubber seal and the thinner rubber seal thats located BELOW the thick rubber seal? Hope this makes sense, its kinda hard to explain. Thanks for the help!!
