I like the look myself. You dont see many painted this way, which I also like. Gives your car that angry bee look.

Been blue for the last 21 years that I have had it along with many others in the area. I have already changed the interior to black and charcoal to go with the yellow. I like to be different from the rest of the crowd.
i almost bought a project car that was painted like that. It really does look good painted that way. The only thing was this car looked like someone painted it in their driveway with a brush. If its done well im sure itll look great!
One of the things I’m looking to do on my next build is a distributor delete, like how modern cars don’t have a distributor like our cars did in the factory and they have ignition coils on every spark plug. So has anyone done this and have any insight or can anyone recommend any kits? For a 289!

Since my car is in pieces and I’m going to rebuild the 289, I need to get some ideas on how to “dress” the engine bay. I don’t want to end up with an abomination of blue, red, yellow, black and chrome - so pop your hoods!

I have a 66 coupe with a 1979 302 2bbl in it.
It was rebuilt 15 years ago but only has about 10k miles on it since. It runs great, gets 19 mpg and uses no oil. If I was wise I'd leave it alone but there is no fun in that and I would like more get up and go. The car is a weekend cruiser...
