load of BS!
I think it was a post on here a while back, but some agency was bringing suit against the company because the product was little more than mineral oil and coloring, and actually did damage in many cases. As far as I'm concerned, don't use it! /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
What I have used for years and is older than me is Marvel Mystry Oil (only in the fuel). If you ask for a Material Safety Data Sheet from them, you will find it is made of the saem products as redline fuel additive which is "approved" by Mercedes, BMW, etc but about 1/2 the price. It does slightly raise the octane but it keeps varnish from forming and evaporates water while lubricating the fuel pump and carb internals.
BS. It is the Federal Gov that has a suit against the company. Nothing but mineral oil according to the analysis. All three of the additives, just colored differently. As someone stated, testing showed it caused more damage than not using it.
