Hello all.

Here is the "official" post about the Zimmerman All Ford Show on
Saturday, September 11, 2004.

This is a judged "Double K" organized show. Many of you have probably been
to one of their cruise nights or possibly a Hooters Cup series show in the
area.

This time, they are hosting a Ford only show, with most of the categories going
to Mustangs.

Kerry over at Double K has asked us to participate in the show in a couple of
ways.

First, we are going to set up a small pup tent, get out a table, and handout
club info. We can hang our banner, and try to draw attention to the club.

Also, we need 4 volunteers (I am one) to help collect votes, park cars, and
generally manage the basics of the show.

Any volunteers? This will be a good way to generate publicity, and if the
show is not a wash out, we will probably get a little bit of money for the
club from Double K.

By the way, if anyone has a 10x10 tailgating tent and a folding table, it
would be great if you could offer them for this. All my stuff will be in
storage while I am in between houses...

If you are *not* helping to organize things, you are invited to enter your
car into the judging. This will be a participant judged show, and will
have many categories with trophies and so forth...

The show was a big hit last year, and should be even bigger this year if the
other area shows are any indication.

See the show flyer by clicking here.

Please reply if you would like to help out, or if you would just like to enter
your car. (If you are entering the judged show, you should end in your
registration slip from the above form before the show to save 5 bucks.)

Thanks!

Thanks Paul!

Just to make sure everyone knows - even if you help out, you can still
bring your car and show it off, you just will not be eligible to win any
of the judged contests.

I hope we can get 2 or 3 more people to help out too.

Well, I would love to come to the show. Will my Stang be ready by then is the question. I just went today to the shop and my friend said that having it ready by Saturday will be cutting it very close. On a positive note, the paint looks awesome!! Thanks for your pics Zim, and I'm glad I got to see the color in person. Guardsman Blue is exactly what I wanted.
