The Last American Hero (1973) Shelby Provided Movie Car

Apparently Another Mustang (gone Missing) for years. Some say crushed? Some say 1967 some say 1968. From my research on "Your Three Minutes Are Up" (1973). Beau Bridges released a month after Last American Hero.
Most likely at least 2 cars for Last American Hero were probably provided for the film.

Looks Like Carroll Shelby was most likely involved in providing the Mustangs for these two films.

From looking at the film paint seems a little rough around the quarter window louvers.
Engine compartment scene

The car features an aftermarket floor shifter, Shelby roll cage and a police scanner. Black interior. Some say Acapulco Blue? But looks black to me.

After researching the subject, I probably wouldn't assume anything about Shelby, looks like he played a little fast and loose.
Didn't he try to assemble some 1967 Mustangs in the 1980's with original Shelby parts?
From newspaper ads Morrison's car was last "heard of" for sale by a Shelby associate?
Could it be possible Vin's peeled and used as a race car? For a movie maybe? or possibly racing?

I have Jim Morrison's nose hair trimmer, that he famously stopped using just prior to filming all those scenes with his Shelby. Autographed by Carroll Shelby and recently authenticated by Dennis Collins. Would you be interested in purchasing that for an absolutely outrageous price?

Wow..... DNA could be harvested from that trimmer and used to clone Jim Morrison.
