My turn signal in mustang doesn't kick off automatically when I turn and I thought it was time to fix finally. I don't know which one to buy.

My car now has alternator in it. I really am not planning on paying 73 bucks for the one for 64. I was th noon ordering just the canceling cam but mustangs unlimited shows there part won't work with so order full switch. I see cj sales th cancelling cam for 64 though so idk?

The electrical connectors for 1964.5 and 1965/66 are different so be careful buying the full switch. IDK about the cancelling cam - may be a similar issue that there is a difference. You might trying taking pictures of the current switch and the connector plug under the dash and posting them.

NEITHER!!
They both are junk.
Get the original FoMoCo part at the dealership.....Its expensive but...you won't be changing it out in 3/4 years. Should last 20+ like the one from the factory in 65.

Don't doubt me on this!

The switch is broken. The cam appears to be okay. You want the early switch for a GENERATOR-EQUIPPED model. The difference is in the horn as the early one has one contact for the horn button as the horn uses a ground-triggered relay. The later switch has 2 contacts and uses a "hot" horn button.
