Hi,

I am having some trouble with my 66 fastback. Does anyone have a picture of the area near the door lock knob (interior) with the door closed.

I can't figure out how to line up the top of the windlace behind the door and the large flat rubber weatherstrip piece and the interior panel. It's a puzzle that a picture would clear right up for me.

Try this on the B pillar

- Install the windlacing - over the metal edge'

- Install the weatherstrip - you should find that there is a little pocket that fits over the windlace

- Then installed the fiberglass quarter panel over that.

Often see owners who attempt to put the windlace over metal and fiberglass

That did the trick. Thanks a lot. I was making the mistake you said... trying to put the windlace over both the fiberglass and the metal.
