I have a 1966 blue coupe that has been restored for my son, he is now in college and really needs a more practical car because he is afraid the Mustang would get damaged on campus. If I help him sell it how do I handle the title. I called the title department in Alabama and they said they don't title cars older than 1974. My Ex husband handled getting the tag for it three years ago, but it is now expired. How do I get it into my son's name tag and title so that he can sell is?

I had a friend purchase a 67 fastback with bill of sale only, he started working on car to restore, had new title issued by TN in his name before working, after replacing sheet metal and motor things like that, rec;d letter from the so called true owner of car that this was her fathers car and she wanted it back, time period was about 5 years, now 5 years later after attoneys and such he finally remove the improvements he made to car and just returned the car to owner per courts. Need clear Title, clear chain.
