I have a friend who bought a 1966 K-code fastback. All of the numbers match including the engine. It was an automatic car. This car does not appear to have torque boxes. I know they were not put in all cars, but I thought this was limited to 6 cyl cars. You would think that Ford would have put them in a high performance car. Have others seen this as well? Thanks to all. I knew it was something like that. They were afraid that the torque boxes rusted off (the car needs some work), but I told them I didn't think the car should have them. I haven't seen the car yet, but we are going to pull the engine one night this week. Happy Holidays to all. Jack.
