This 1966 has a brand new factory wiring harness.

I installed a 3g alternator along with the PA system that plugs in where the old regulator was on the firewall.

I have a Duraspark distributor with a GM module and no spark.

I am getting 12 volts at the + and - side of the coil with key on. When cranking I am getting 9.6 volts at + side of coil.

Please help.

Long story it ran four years ago when I was trying to finish car for my son. Life got in the way adopting my nieces and here I am.

Heat-sinked the crap out of it in a empty Duraspark box. Ran extra ground using a jumper from #2 to a carburator stud.

Took cap off and engine cranked over rotor spun.

Is there a way to check these older gm modules?
