I have a 1967 Coupe, 289-2V, Sprintime Yellow, built in San Jose in June 1967. As far as I can tell it has a normal C-4 automatic transmission. As far as I know, it's all original. The transmission code is "0" (zero) or "O" (letter oh), which doesn't show up as an option on any of the data plate decoders I've seen. Does anyone know what this code stands for?

Probably a mis-stamp...

That's it!

The data plate has no code in the AXLE section, the "0" in the TRANS section, and sure enough the rivet is right where the W would be if it got shifted right. Thanks for clearing up the mystery!

Remember, at Ford, Quality was Jobb Onne.
