I'm looking for a timing procedure, and specs, for a 1980 Ford Mustang 3.3L Engine.

when setting the timing on an old 3.3l inline six, probably the best way is to advance the timing until you start getting detonation, and then back off a couple of degrees until it stops. then lock the distributor down. that generally puts the initial timing around 15 degree btdc.
