ok first one.
1970 mustang 302 4 speed top loader right now.
I found a built 351w for $2000, and i want to swap out the 302 for the 351w. As far as i know, all i need is the power steering brackets, right? A new flywheel and clutch would be on order too...

Part 2
1969 mach 1 mustang, 514 stroker no trans.
Ok, 4 speed top loader. Can i use a 71' 429 toploader? Or even a boss 429 toploader? Its all the same bellhousing, just different crank pilot. Would this be a problem? I want to make the car a manual, but will it handle the 500+hp/torque from this thing?

I know im probably asking the same questions again and again, but i just want to make damn sure i dont mess anything up this time.

The motor is already all assembled. its a turn key motor for $2000. It sounds fishy, but i know the guy. He built the motor intending to use it in his jeep for wheeling, but flipped the jeep and parted it out before the motor got in. So its been sitting in his garage all bagged up for the past 3 years. (this same guy gave me a nitrous setup by the way :horror:)
