I have a 70 Convertible with a 351C in it...
couple of questions
1) it has a 4 blade fixed fan on it....should it be a five blade?
2) it does not have a clutch fan, should it?....its a non a/c power steering auto car...
3) the fan sticks out from the stock radiator/shroud and 3/4 of the way....should it be farther inside the shroud?
4) fan from radiator is 2 inches...looks too far..
5) spacer is only 1 1/2inch....needs to be longer?
reason I ask is the car overheats after idling for several minutes......runs fine on the street......have done all the usual stuff like check timming, thermostat etc....new RADIATOR AND EVERYTHING.....
engine runs strong otherwise with no leaks etc......
