I have been thinking more and more about the motor I am going to build for my 67 Coup.
Thanks to everyone here I have decided on a 351W over a 347 Stoker
irate:
I am going to start looking for the block. I have found a few around my area and was going to go look at some of them this coming week.
Now I don't really care what is on the block since I figure I will replace all of it as my goal is to have 400+ HP.
But I know I will have to make sure the block is in good shape. Is there any way to make sure the block is good when it still has everything on in?
Im sure all of them will have rust on the blocks. Is there a way to tell when there is to much.
What are the signs of a bad block, other then there being a hole in the block.
