I think Mustang Monthly did one a while back. One of the mags did anyway. Few things I remember, you will have to build an oil pan and pickup. No one makes it. The oil filter needs to be relocated. There are no aftermarket headers and the factory manifolds exit into the steering box. They tried mustang, crown vic and SVO versions. Clearance wasn't a problem with the firewall. I don't remember if the shock towers were modified. I had thought about this with my 69, even measured. With the widest part of the motor and the widest part of the shock towers, there was less than 1/2 inch on each side. So if you wanted to lower the engine, you would have to modify.
