Was down at the body shop today putting the headlights and parking lights back on the car. Started to mess with putting the new carpet back in the car. Didn't have enough time to really get any where except for a test fit. So now some questions:

I bought the Black ACC molded carpet set for the 65' FB. The carpet fits fine left to right. Is it normal that you have to trim it a bit where it starts to go up the fire wall? Didn't look like enough room to get the extra carpet up under the heater plenium box and the air outlet box under the dash at the floor.

Just wanted to check before I trim it to fit correctly.

Any other installation hints?

Thanks,
Kory

Thanks Charles! The drivers side seems to fit in near perfect with out trimming, but the trans hump and pass. side will need some triming. One more question for you. The carpet set came with 2 small sections, almost like a half moon or a triangle shape. What on earth are those for?

I've got the front section that stops at about the seat riser. The rear section that covers the seat risers. 2 x little dimmer switch things (ill ignore them like you advised) and those two traingle ish shaped ones.

Thanks for any help.

What screws? Never had any in the old carpet and the set doesn't come with any. Where do they go? Through both sets of carpet as they overlap on the seat riser or just through one section? Thanks for your help. Kory
