I recently replaced the CVR in the instrument cluster in my '66 because none of the gauges were working. I was told that this controls the gauges and if all the gauges act a certain way then this is the culprit.
Well I installed it and noticed a lingering black wire that I assumed is the ground. I dont remember if it was on before because I had changed the bezel and all about 2 years ago.
The problem is that the gas gauge does not work (new by the way), oil and temp will read H on start up and come to the middle of the gauge then shoot back to the H position.
Can anyone please give me some info on this? I have been stuck on this for a while:shrug:
