Did the sheetmetal area just below the 1/4 vent windows in a 70 Sportsroof get a watershield like the front doors did? Was there anything behind the fiberglass1/4 trim?
Need to get that area buttoned up.

Mark,

I don;t believe that the rear quarter plastic received any sound deadening material nor water shielding from the factory. I plan on installing sound deadener there to keep the noise down to the rear passenger area anyway. Can't hurt anything and no one will see it anyway.

I found nothing but dirt and dust there when I tore down my '70 Mach 1. I'll probably put some kind of shielding in there as well to help with road noise once it all gets buttoned back up.
