My son is home on leave from the Army.Leaving monday for the big sand pile across the water.Anyway he want to start and drive his 72 mustang.It wont start. It has been sitting up a few months.I know my fault.351c with an ederbrock 600.I think the problem is the carb.I removed the carb and cleaned it out reinstalled the carb Put Fresh gas in.It fired right up.Ran for about 10 mins idel kinda high to me. then just died carb has a lot of gas in it but not running out of the bowl.And wont start.Any ideas? I would like to get it running be fore he takes off for Afghanistan thanks

If you pop a super quick shot of starting fluid in it will it turn over and run for a second or two? IF so you have something from the fuel lines or carb rebuild clogging something. Sound like you plugged up the fuel filter or something in the carb.
