I thought you had realized this is a project that's going nowhere. What are you going to weld to at the bottom?
I see you have a new seat riser held in place with a screw. What are you going to weld it to?
I already know that this project will get me nowhere but what it will give me is experience fixing rust and I probably should have mentioned I already have a new complete rocker

Lol you really think we haven't done this before? You think, what we have some weird vendetta against Flux machines? Are there no conversions to add gas to that welder? No ones out to get you, we're here to help you succeed, heed our advice and you will.

I know that everyone on here has a lot more experience than me and thank you everyone for the help but I really want to give this flux core a shot even when im told it wont work I still have to at least give it one try to be certain that i have to go out and buy a better welder

I can promise you punching yourself in the balls hurts but you can always go ahead and do it anyway if you don’t believe me.

I say if your enjoying yourself, try to make the repairs and have fun, just keep it off the road as putting that car on the road would be dangerous to OTHERS and yourself and would be an irresponsible decision. But learning the hard way is how most of us did it too, just probably not quite that hard... much like the punching of the balls or eating a cat turd, I would know not to do it beforehand.

What about punching the balls while eating a cat turd?

That's nothing but the front third and you need a lot more than that.
I definitely do need more than that but if i get it and weld it in the right spot it fixes a good chunk of the rust then i can tackle the rear rail and wheel well and I would definitely have to have the new rocker installed to be able to remove the very small amount of metal that is holding the front clip on it

To use that front end, or even brand new sheet metal in the front, your cowl/firewall NEEDS to be solid. From the pictures you have shared I doubt they are in good enough shape to weld a complete front end on to.

Is that a complete rocker, or just an outer? Either way, DO NOT cut out the B-pillar until you replace the rocker.

Rusty

Well.... let's see where this chapter takes us. Maybe we'll see it at SEMA this year.
