I'm loooking at heads and see titanium valves and retainers. I'm assuming that there stronger but is there any issue over time? The goal is extreme horsepower but built for the long haul.

Yeah, there's lot's of problems with Titanium.....you shouldn't use it.
(got any Crower Titanium rods you don't need? how about valves, keepers, retainers....?)
BTW.. last year I saw a set of SBF Crower Titanium rods for sale on e__y. I bid on them until they reached $800, they sold for $1200. Cool stuff...!!
