Cobra Dual Quad Intake on EBay?

There is a Cobra dual quad intake on EBay right now, item #8056656634. The small Cobra lettering looks perfect for my 1965 GT350 Clone. Could anyone please take a look and let me know what they think of this manifold. Does it fit Holleys or AFBs? I have no problem running dual quads, but would appreciate any input I can get. Thanks!!

That manifold will only fit AFBs or Edelbrocks. You can see from the pics that the inside carb bolt holes (between the two carbs) are nearly side by side. No way a Holley's float bowls will fit that space (or an autolite or BG, for that matter). One board member who knows these manifolds very well is JP68GTCS. I'd send him a pm. If you want to run Holleys you'll need to look for a "Highrise" dual quad manifold. I'm not sure if they're being reproduced, or what they cost, but here's an ad from the days of yore...

Thanks for the info. I emailed John and he told me everything I wanted to know and more. This manifold uses AFB carbs. The later high rise manifold used Holleys and is being reproduced.

I thought they ran the Holley carbs turned 90 degrees with this intake with a special linkage.
You could do that. The problem is that you'd have a 4 cylinder engine until the carburetors' secondaries opened! That manifold is a 180-degree design; meaning that the planes on each side of the manifold are routed to feed only 4 cylinders each.
