Hello everyone. I am in the process of replacing the harmonic balancer on my 65 289 A code motor and I ran across something that has got me scratching my head. I bought a new crank bolt and washer for the balancer. The large thick washer that came with the bolt is either con-caved on one side or con vexed on the other . Anyone know which side should go towards the crank snout. The best I can remember all the ones I have taken off cranks before were flat.
