Converting 90-0 ohms to 0-90 ohms on fuel sending unit

I have a fuel guage that is reading backwards. I was informed by the manufacturer of the guage that I need a 0-90 ohms sending unit installed. I currently have a 90-0 ohm unit. My mechanic claims that the 0-90 sending units will not properly fit in my tank (I have a stock tank in my 66). The manufacturer of the guage said there are conversion units I can buy and place between the sending unit and guage to make it work properly. Can someone point me to those conversion units? Thanks

Folks seem happy with the MeterMatch unit. I have suggested it to a couple of customers looking for a solution to a problem like yours.
LeeFred did a nice write-up on it a couple of years ago: Possible 65 Fuel Gauge Sending Unit Fix
Rktmn, I'm glad you showed up- I hope you don't mind Razzle, but since he's here and has a gauge business, I'd like to ask him a question. Rktmn- could you tell us what the two adjustment wheels on the back of the oil, water and fuel gauges do, and how to use them? How much adjustment can you get?
