Does this unit actually work? Has anyone here used it for the purpose I need it for?

Folks seem happy with the MeterMatch unit. I have suggested it to a couple of customers looking for a solution to a problem like yours.

Rktmn, I'm glad you showed up- I hope you don't mind Razzle, but since he's here and has a gauge business, I'd like to ask him a question. Rktmn- could you tell us what the two adjustment wheels on the back of the oil, water and fuel gauges do, and how to use them? How much adjustment can you get?

 

 

As someone who isn't very savvy with electronics, do these interfaces need their own power supply from the car battery, or are they simply going in between the guage and the sending unit?

 

If you're talking about Meter match, click on Rktmn's instruction manual above, and look on page 3. There are 4 connections and if you want the alarm LED is 2 more.
